To bury any speculations as to whether Mads has ?gone soft?, he will probably whip out the ol’ electric towards the end of the set. MAD&HUNGRY’S DEBUT ALBUM OUT ON SEPTEMBER 24! More details in a few days.. 27/06 2007: MORE CONCERTS AND NEW ALBUMA MESSAGE FROM MADS Hi everyone! Hope you’re all doing OK...the last couple of months have been really busy for me, I haven’t even got the time to keep you updated about my activities! It has been a lot of fun and very diverse challenges it was great to do the gigs with Chris Thompson and Special guest Katrina Leskanich (Ex-Katrina and the waves) for two nights at totally packed Madam Felle in Bergen on May 4-5. This was the third year in a row that we played Madam Felle the first weekend of May, and we want to keep up the tradition of bringing on a ?celebrity? guest every year (we had Leo Sayer in 2005). Then I went to Seattle for 10 days with the Hordaland theater group, performing the Singel&Sand cabaret quite surreal! Then I have had some gigs of my own, some with The Rolling Clones and with singer/songwriter Joanne Vaardal-Lunde, whose debut album, due to be out this fall, I’m playing on. My band had a really enjoyable gig playing Edvard Griegs music in rock arrangement a a conference in KP1 in the Bergen cinema on earlier this month, and then we put up ?Singel&Sand? again in Bergen (6shows). CONRATULATIONS TO CHRIS AND GIRLFRIEND INGE whose daughter Millie was born on June 21! Mads has been given the honorable task of being godfather to the couple’s first child. CONCERT LIST Scroll down to the end of this page for a list of concerts this year. This list will be updated as more gigs are confirmed. 13/04 2007: GIGSANOTHER WALK ON SUNSHINE On the annual Chris Thompson/Mads Eriksen gigs at Madam Felle this year (May 4 and 5), Katrina Leskanich, formerly of Katrina and the Waves, will appear as special guest.
